Launch Your Vision: A Strategic Guide for Artists, Visionaries, and Kingdom Builders
Do you believe that God has placed a creative calling on your life, but you don't know how to bring it into reality? Maybe you've wrestled with these thoughts: -Stuck: that's how I feel with my creative process! -I want to write a book, but how do I start? -How can I avoid self-promotion yet focus on effective marketing? -What's the difference between aiming for excellence and being a perfectionist? International film producer, author, and speaker Rebecca Friedlander shares powerful keys of how to tap into your destiny in Christ by using Biblical insights, thought-provoking questions, and personal stories from her journey of 17 years as a full-time, creative artist and minister. Using the theme "ready, aim, fire," she enables you to: READY YOUR HEART: identify and overcome lies that keep you back from accomplishing your creative dreams. AIM: BUILD YOUR STRATEGY: no matter the budget or how little you start with, learn how to write your vision on paper and use what you have to take the next step forward. FIRE: RELEASE YOUR VISION: learn godly marketing techniques/tools, discover how Jesus built his ministry from the ground up, and communicate in a way that produces lasting Kingdom fruit. Each chapter includes 10 soul-searching questions and space to write the responses as you examine your heart, write your vision, and make a plan. “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” -- Abraham Lincoln “A vision without a strategy remains an illusion.” -- Lee Bolman “Hope is not a strategy.” --Vince Lombardi “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it." --Habakkuk 2:2 Rebecca Friedlander has been in full-time ministry for 19 years, ministering both locally and internationally using film, creative arts, books, and music. As a songwriter, entrepreneur, worship leader, and licensed minister myself, I know well the journey of understanding who I am and Who I belong to, and how that effects my freedom to create. Rebecca's revelation of this leaps off the page. The breakthrough she has in this area is sure to release many others in their own creative journey. Her practical advice and probing questions will help move you forward as you process with the Lord. I mentor many worship leaders and this book is being added to my reading list for them!

This book is a perfect guide for frustrated “creatives” who are looking for ways to get un-stuck and back on the path to fulfilling their God-given destiny. Rebecca Friedlander weaves together personal stories, dynamic biblical truths, and encouragement straight from the Father’s heart, guiding readers to step out and take strategic action that hits the mark. The instructive teaching dismantles several common ungodly beliefs in “blind spot” areas of the heart, and thought-provoking reflection questions after each chapter help readers dig deeper by applying concepts directly to their own creative journey. I highly recommend this book, and pray that its message empowers us all to find the treasure within and express fully what God has created us to be.

To learn that The Father is interested in my achievements is something completely new to me. I have always thought that to lose myself and my wants, was a way to walk closer with my Father. I have no dreams or visions for myself because I thought I had to lose myself in order to find Him. The journey through this book opens up endless possibilities with my Father... To find out that our God given talents are something God enjoys seeing us use is a real eye opener, it has taken me out of tunnel Vision and into a realm where all things are possible with God, with the blessing of the knowledge that God loves me more than He wants to use me.
--Angela, Queensland, Australia
Straight away in Chapter One Rebecca opens her heart and shares, and straight away I'm at ease and want to hear more. I can see my self there too, and I'm sure I am not the only one... I'm excited to awake my dreams again and watch what God does... I read it with tears in my eyes and with some giggles in her stories as they related to me. I've only come across some books that I have been unable to leave down and this is one of them. So much heart, teaching, love and God's touch in this wonderful book.

As an artist who has struggled much with self doubt and misunderstandings of God’s calling on my life, it was wonderfully encouraging to read Rebecca’s book, “Launch Your Vision”! This is not just a “self help” book, but one that contains Godly words of advice and filled with scripture. Every artist, musician, visionary, etc can certainly take some golden nuggets from this treasure book! Thank you Rebecca for being obedient to God’s call on your life!
--Brittny, Texas, USA
I am an excitable dreamer who loves new projects, adventure and is terrified of pain. I find it very easy to dream of all the things I'd like to do for the Lord yet I rarely follow through with any of them. I find myself telling others my plans that stir up jealously in them or negative warnings from them. If it's not other's opinions that stop me from following my dreams, it's comparison... I am so thankful Rebecca wrote a book called 'Launch Your Vision' to help stuck artists like myself. She has taught me that there will be times in my life that may be lifeless and it's at those times God is using me to dive deeper into knowing Him... she also taught me to laugh at my fears rather than give into them. God does not want me to stop being fruitful because of fear, rather we need to walk in faith with a strategy for my creativity.
