Abba's Heart

Welcome, fellow pilgrims. Since you're on this page, you've probably picked up the book and used the QR code or weblink to find this corner of the world. I'd love to sit across from you with a steaming cup of hot tea and talk about these chapters together, but here's the next best thing: a media experience that can enhance your devotional journey! 

So, here we go. Diving into the raw, rugged journey of discovering the Love that's pursuing us. Let's start with a music video I recorded with a friend in Ireland, on the rocky cliffs and foamy waters of the Irish Sea. The lyrics are in your book. I give you, "Linger." 

Let's stay in Ireland for a bit, as we meditate on the Father's Presence and closeness. Over the summer I filmed a music video of my friend Wes Grierson, whose wife Lynsey and I brainstormed on how to create a clever music video to this song. In the end, we opted for their neighbor's field, where an iconic green tree was rooted in the middle of the rich, green pasture. Here's the track, "Thistles or Weeds." Our friend Lauren Armstrong created this beautiful painting based on the book. It now hangs in the cabin, where people come and stay, and rest in the Father's Love. She writes:

Here's a video I created at sunrise at my cabin. We sing this song a lot in our worship sets and retreats. It's a beautiful way to connect with Abba's Heart!
