The Trip of a Lifetime!

If you love Celtic history, discovering "Thin Places" of God's Presence, and picking up mantles of heroes of the faith, you won't want to miss this amazing tour!  We'll walk the land, worship and pray at early Celtic sites, explore stunning Irish castles and historic locations, and learn the compelling stories behind early Celtic legends that will unlock our heritage and inspire us to greatness.  We'll also show the film Thin Places and have the opportunity to serve in several Irish churches!

10 day tour, August 26 - September 4th, 2019

26th - Day 1
Arrive in Dublin please make own way on shuttle bus from airport to hotel. This afternoon we will visit the beautiful city of Dublin, Here you will be given free time to visit Trinity College to see the Amazing Book of Kells and the Old Library or take a Tour Bus around the City or simply just walk around the City gathering some beginnings of souvenirs and soaking in the Culture. We will meet in the City for Dinner if you wish and experience some wonderful local food and of course some of the local music as we eat before heading back to the hotel. (This meal will be at your own expense.)
27th - Day 2
We will start out early for our morning drive to Kilrush in Co Clare and ferry to Scattery Island with 8th century Celtic monastic ruins. (Scattery was the last of the Celtic monasteries and is definitely a "thin place!") We will step back in time for a tour of Island with Mary Hamilton, one of the local pastors.  While on the island we will worship and pray before returning to Kilrush for dinner then onto the City of Limerick for overnight stay.  

28th - Day 3
After Breakfast we will Drive to the breath-taking Rock of Cashel, here we will visit the ancient site and hear of the history. After an early Lunch in Cashel we will drive to Glendalough, the beautiful 6th century monastic site planted by St Kevin. We will enjoy dinner together in Glendalough and overnight in a hotel nearby.  That night we hope to show the Film Thin Places to a local church in Dublin and minister in worship and word to the people.

29th - Day 4
This morning we will head to the village of Tullamore to the Abbey of Durrow a monastic site planted by St Columba in 553. From there we will head on to the village of Kells were the book of Kells was written (at least in part).  We will give you time to lunch there before driving onto Slane a key site of St Patrick. If we have time, we will make our final stop Monasterboice to see the beautiful Celtic Crosses. We will end our journey in Belfast at our hotel for dinner and some well-earned rest after what will have been a long but well worth it day!

30th - Day 5
​It’s is all about St Patrick today! We will visit the beautiful church of Saul, St Patrick’s first Apostolic Hub. Then on to St Patrick’s Centre, St Patrick’s Cathedral and his Grave before returning to Belfast for dinner.

31st - Day 6

Today we visit Bangor Abbey (the site of 24/7 Worship for over 150yrs) lunch in Bangor (and maybe a little quick shopping) and then onto Nendrum another Monastic site set up by St Machaoi in the 5th Century.  And Back to Belfast for Dinner.  Tonight we will show the Film Thin Places in a church in Belfast followed by worship and ministry to the people.

1st Sept -  Day 7

We will start today by going to local church and ministering, then after a quick bite of lunch drive to Slemish Mountain where St Patrick spent 6yrs in slavery. The mountain rises about 1500 feet (437 metres) above the surrounding plain, and it is actually the central core of an extinct volcano from there we will go onto Giants Causeway for a look at this geological wonder and World Heritage Site. We will have dinner when we return to Belfast.

2nd Sept – Day 8
Today we will drive to Gartan in Co Donegal the birth place of St Columba, the powerful Celtic saint.  Here we will visit the Heritage Centre and go through the exhibition on his life etc.  We will have lunch in Letterkenny on way there and have dinner at the stunningly beautiful North Coast on our way back to hotel.

3rd Sept Day 9 – Today is all about your last minute wishes – you will have a free day in Belfast for last minute shopping, or sightseeing before your journey to Dublin airport hotel leaving. We will leave Belfast around 6:30 pm.

4th Sept  Day 10- 
Depart for home

Pastor Kevin Sambrook is a teacher and author of an inspirational book “Chosen” on the life of St Patrick - you will be inspired as you hear the stories through Kevin as you walk the land of Patrick this ancient Apostle.
Pastor Rose Sambrook is a respected prophetic voice and tour guide in Northern Ireland who brings transformative life to the dry bones of history! 
Rebecca Friedlander is an ordained minister, worship leader, and producer of the film Thin Places as seen on Pure Flix and Revelation TV, and will lead worship on site. ​

$1695 plus airfare to Dublin, Ireland. 

Book today or place your $300 down payment to hold your spot.  Payment in full due by July 16th. 

-You must book your own flight to Dublin.
-Non-refundable $300 fee to reserve place, full amount due on July 16th.
-$1695 is for a shared room.  Private room, add $585 supplement fee.
-All plans subject to slight changes based on weather, availability, etc.
